LATINO ARTIST LIVES THE DREAM BY WEARING MICHAEL JACKSON'S ORIGINAL CLOTHES

Growing up, Peruvian singer Henry Vera aspired to be just like Michael Jackson. And thanks to collector Richard Fossass, Vera was literally able to walk in Jackson’s shoes.

Vera made history last month as the only Latino to officially showcase Jackson’s accessories and jackets. Fossass, a Miami-based collector, has always been supportive of Vera’s career, which is why he allowed the singer to wear the pop legend’s clothes.

Vera and Fossas presented Jackson’s items at an exhibit in Los Angeles Jan. 28, a meaningful experience for the bachata singer.

“It’s an honor for me to be able to wear Michael’s clothes,” Vera said. “He definitely influenced my decision to become a performer, so it’s a dream come true. I never thought I’d be able to do something like this.”
